Symposium Registration

The 19th Symposium of the International Dostoevsky Society will be held from June 15 to 20, 2026, at the Centro Cultural de la Cooperación, located in downtown Buenos Aires.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGES OF THE SYMPOSIUM

Russian, English, Spanish, Portuguese.
Each speaker will have 20 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for comments.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE MAY 15, 2026

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

The number of participants will be limited to approximately 150.

Current membership of IDS (International Dostoevsky Society), NADS (North American Dostoevsky Society) or ADS (Argentine Dostoevsky Society) is required to register.

REGISTRATION COST

Full registration: $100.

Students (with certificate): $50.

CULTURAL PROGRAM

On June 20, the Organizing Committee is planning a day trip to Colonia, Uruguay.

HOTELS, FOOD

There is an endless supply of hotels and restaurants in the vicinity of the Cultural Center of Cooperation (Avenida Corrientes 1543). See Conference Program for details.

The organizers plan to offer a welcome luncheon on the first day of the Symposium. 

A closing dinner will take place on the last day at a central Buenos Aires hotel. The cost of the dinner will be US$40. Participants intending to join the closing dinner should register for this option on the registration page.
