Over 1,200 newspaper articles have been woven into a panorama of the writers\u2019 reflections in Polish culture. The author traces the reception of Dostoevsky\u2019s biographical narrative, his literary and journalistic oeuvre, and his correspondence, presents a comparative discussion of literary and cultural interrelations, glimpses into theatre stages and cinema theatres, traces the presence of Dostoevsky\u2019s literary legacy in the Polish educational process, history, politics, social life, and mass and elite cultures, as well as other, surprising contexts.
