To commemorate the 200th<\/sup> anniversary of the birth of Fyodor Dostoevsky, a number of various events were held in Tomsk in 2021.<\/p>\n

  1. The book Geopolitical Map and Worldview of F.M. Dostoevsky<\/em> included in the series \u201cSources<\/em>and\u00a0Methods<\/em>in the\u00a0Study<\/em>\u00a0of the Heritage of\u00a0F.M. Dostoevsky<\/em>\u00a0in\u00a0Russian<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0World Culture<\/em>\u201d was published. Tomsk: Tomsk State University Press, 2021.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The presentation of the book was held on the 26th<\/sup> of October and broadcast on the famous Russian TV channel \u201cCultura\u201d

    At the end of 2021, the book was also awarded the Diploma in the competition of the Russian Political Science Association, the category \u201cInterdisciplinary research\u201d.<\/p>\n

In January 2021, commemorating the 200th<\/sup> anniversary of Dostoevsky\u2019s birth, Tomsk State University held a reading aloud marathon.<\/em> The team of 152 participants from 8 countries (Russia, Germany, France, Sweden, Austria, the USA, Israel, and China) read aloud The Gambler <\/em>nonstop.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Dostoevsky was never in Tomsk. However, his bicentennial stipulated the scholars of Tomsk State University to explore the links that Dostoevsky himself or his relatives and acquaintance<\/a>s could have with this Siberian town.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
